From its pioneer mixed-use development project in the 1990s, Rockwell Land Corp. has come a long way in transforming more than just the Makati skyline.
WHERE IT ALL STARTED
Rockwell Land is a real estate company with expertise in the development of prime residential and commercial lands adjacent to the Makati central business district. In 1995, it transformed a former thermal power plant into a renewed living environment known as the Rockwell Center—a mixed-use development that pioneered Rockwell’s reputation as one of the country’s leading developers of high-end commercial and residential properties.
A CITY WITHIN A CITY
Today, Rockwell Center is home to high-rise residential towers, office buildings, a graduate school for law, business, and government, a lifestyle shopping center, and a sports and leisure club. It is conveniently located between the bustling business districts of Makati and Ortigas.

ROCKWELL RESPONDS TO CHANGING DEMANDS

With social distancing protocols encour- aging people to move to lower-density communities that can accommodate horizontal living spaces and wide open areas, the corporation will develop a mixed-use development in Bacolod City next year, offering both horizontal and vertical projects complemented by retail spaces.
EXPLORING HORIZONTAL DEVELOPMENTS
Rockwell also earlier initiated the Rockwell South at Carmelray. This is a high-end horizontal project in Laguna spanning 63 hectares which would otherwise have been a part of an existing industrial hub. Upon completion, the Rockwell South will be home to 252 prime cut lots. This project has become highly relevant and attractive especially as subdiviand other horizontal developments are deemed to be among the safest and most desired residential properties as far as the pandemic’s physical distancing protocols are concerned.
