Celebrate nostalgia on this the season of love in 2020. The weekend is fast approaching; those still looking for ideas on how to spend this coming Friday night can rest easy with “Jim and Boboy: Still In Love”.
Original Pinoy Music (OPM) fans and sentimental music lovers may remember Jim and Boboy from the APO Hiking Society, one of the biggest bands to have come from the iconic era that was the 70’s and 80’s. With hits like “Batang-Bata Ka Pa“, “Panalangin”, and “Awit Ng Barkada“, this homegrown Atenean trio has carved a niche for themselves in the hearts of a generation. In 2010, after a career that spanned over four decades, the APO Hiking Society took to the stage one last time to conclude a much-followed (and beloved) music career.
Ten years later, they return. Jim Paredes and Boboy Garovillo are set to grace the stage this February 13, 2020 at The Fifth at Rockwell. Singing classic hits to couples, friends, and families alike, Jim and Boboy aim to make this Valentine’s Day weekend the best yet. Along with live music, guests will also be treated to a sit-down dinner by Cibo at 6:30pm — all of which take part to create a perfect formula for Friday night.
“Jim and Boboy: Still In Love” is just the first in a series of concerts this year hosted by the Rockwell Performing Arts Theatre. Tickets for this special Valentine’s dinner concert are priced at PHP5,000 per head. Keep a watch out for future concerts by both local and international world-class performers.
